R&B Spotlight (formerly known as R&B Nights), is back at the legendary BB King Blues & Grill located in the heart of New York's Times Square. On Sunday, June 10th, the melodic and soulful sounds of national and local up-and-coming R&B talent will showcase their stage skills for your pleasure. The special guest artist for this installment of R&B Spotlight is Sisqo aka "The Dragon" of the multi-platinum group Dru Hill. With a song list stacked with hits from his lead vocalist days, it's sure to be a wild night of singing and stories from the on-again, off-again soloist.
Over the years, chart-topping superstars such as "The Queen of Soul", Aretha Franklin, soulful crooner Anthony Hamiliton, and 90’s trio SWV, have headlined shows at BB King Blues & Grill. R&B Spotlight opens the curtain of opportunity for the next superstar to be discovered by allowing rising artists to release their inner superstar to the R&B community. “We hope that by inviting national acts, we’ll inspire new artists to pursue their dreams,” says founder of R&B Spotlight, Cory Taylor.
Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 day of the event and may be purchased directly through BB Kings website here or at ticketmaster.com
