  • After Endorsing Ron Paul, Kelly Clarkson’s Album Sales Increase. After endorsing Ron Paul on her Twitter and Facebook, Kelly Clarkson has endured a lot of criticism. However, this did not hinder her album sales at all. It actually helped her by increasing her album sales of her latest album, “Stronger”.

 

  • Lupe Fiasco Is “Waitng” On Atlantic Records To Come Out With New Album.  According to Lupe Fiasco, “The ‘Lupe [Fiasco's Food & Liquor II]‘ album is [coming out] hopefully. It’s not on me,” he tells the The BoomBox. “It’s not done yet. I’m waiting on my record company, ain’t nothing changed. Same business, it’s on them.”  In the meantime (while he is waiting), he is gearing up to go on tour in Austrailia in April.

 

  • Ester Dean Signs Management Deal With Roc Nation.  Ester Dean reveals the news on Twitter. “I’m so Grateful 4 my Team Past and Present! Bringing in the New Year with my new Team @RocNation 2012″, she tweeted. Dean is responsible for some of pop’s biggest hits and now she’s is gearing up for her career as a recording artist. She has written or co-written for artists such as Britney Spears, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Monica, Keri Hilson, Keyshia Cole,Kelly Rowland, Katy Perry, Trey Songz, Kelly Clarkson, Ciara, Usher, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj,  Beyoncé Knowles, and Christina Aguilera, and others.

 

  • Cee Lo Green Upsets John Lennon Fans. During a recent performance on NBC’s New Year’s Eve broadcast from Times Squre, Cee Lo Green sung his own version of John Lennon’s “Imagine”. This probably wasn’t a good idea! He changed a couple of lines from “nothing to kill or die for/ and no religion too” as Lennon wrote, to “nothing to kill or die for/ and all religion’s true.” Lennon fans were not happy about this and took to their Twitter.
